The Compass Coaching System: Your Path to a Better Life

Life can feel like a mountain—full of steep trails, foggy moments, and distant peaks. Whether you’re seeking clarity, building better habits, or chasing a big dream, you don’t have to climb alone. I’m Remy Sharpe, your coach and Sherpa, and I’ve created The Compass Coaching System to guide you step-by-step to the life you want.

At its heart, The Compass is about real, lasting change. It’s not a quick fix or empty pep talk—it’s a clear map, practical tools, and a partner to help you navigate. My promise? To walk beside you with honesty, focus, and a system that works. Together, we’ll turn your goals into reality, guided by three words: Engage. Adapt. Overcome.

Ready to start your climb? Here’s how The Compass lights the way.

What is The Compass?

The Compass is a coaching system designed to help you grow into the person you want to be. It’s built for real life—whether you want to:

  • Feel calmer and more confident.

  • Build routines that stick, like exercising or focusing at work.

  • Gain energy, stability, or time for what matters.

  • Deepen relationships with family, friends, or your community.

Think of your life as a mountain. Your goals are the summit, and I’m your Sherpa—not pushing or pulling, but guiding with experience and tools. The Compass helps you:

  • Know Your Path: Clarify what you truly want.

  • See Where You Are: Understand what’s helping or holding you back.

  • Take Smart Steps: Make small changes that add up big.

Our mantra—Engage. Adapt. Overcome.—is the rhythm of your climb:

  • Engage: Be honest about what’s true for you.

  • Adapt: Adjust your approach to fit your life.

  • Overcome: Keep moving, even through setbacks.

Your Summit: The Four Coordinates

Your goals are personal—they’re your summit, the life you’re climbing toward. We break them into Four Coordinates to make them clear:

  • Being: Who do you want to be? Someone confident, kind, or at peace?
Example: “I want to feel steady, no matter what.”

  • Doing: What do you want to do every day? Work smarter, move more, or rest well?
Example: “I want to walk daily and plan my week.”

  • Having: What do you need? More energy, a stable job, or a cozy home?
Example: “I want enough rest to enjoy my days.”

  • Sharing: How do you want to connect? Be a better friend, parent, or helper?
Example: “I want to spend real time with my family.”

These Coordinates are your guideposts. They don’t need to be huge—just true to you. I’ll help you shape them into goals you can reach.

Your Tools: The Seven Anchors

To climb your mountain, you need tools—not fancy gear, but smart ways to stay strong. The Seven Anchors are things you can tweak to make progress:

  • Standards: What you expect, like “I finish one task daily.”

  • States: How you feel—energized, stressed, or calm.

  • Stories: What you believe, like “I’m learning” instead of “I fail.”

  • Skills: What you’re good at, like planning or listening.

  • Supplies: What you have—time, support, or a quiet space.

  • Surroundings: Where you are—your home, work, or people.

  • Strategies: Your plans, like a morning routine or stress fix.

Here’s the secret: these Anchors connect. Change one—like starting your day with a clear plan (Strategy)—and it can lift your energy (State) or confidence (Story). You don’t need to fix them all. I’ll help you pick one or two that make the biggest difference.

Your Steps: Behavior Loops

Every action you take follows a pattern called a Behavior Loop:

  • Something Happens: A trigger, like stress or a text.

  • You Feel: Annoyed, excited, or tired.

  • You Act: You do something, like work or scroll your phone.

  • Something Results: You feel better, worse, or stuck.

Loops are how habits form—good ones, like “tired → calm → stretch → energized,” or tricky ones, like “stress → tense → snap → regret.” The Compass helps you spot these loops and choose a new Action to get a better Result. For example, instead of snapping, you might breathe deeply and feel closer to your family (Sharing).

These loops build your Coordinates, step by step. They’re small, but they’re powerful.

Your Guide: The Sherpa

As your Sherpa, I’m here to guide your climb—not to carry you or tell you what to want. My job is to:

  • Map Your Path: Start with a detailed Intake to see where you stand.

  • Track Your Steps: Use Weekly Check-Ins to celebrate wins and tweak what’s off.

  • Navigate Bumps: Help you through tough moments, knowing growth has ups and downs.

  • Personalize Tools: Suggest changes that fit you, like a new habit or mindset.

  • Cheer You On: Listen deeply and keep you focused on your summit.

I bring clarity, experience, and a system that’s helped people like you find their way. Together, we’ll make your goals real.

Your Journey: Growth That Lasts

The Compass isn’t about sprinting to the top—it’s about climbing steady and strong. Life has twists, like sunny trails or sudden storms. We call these the Adaptive Cycle:

  • Growth: You’re moving forward, hitting goals.

  • Consolidation: You pause to rest and soak it in.

  • Disturbance: Challenges hit, like stress or change.

  • Reorganization: You rethink and find a new way up.

These phases are normal—they’re how you grow. The Compass gives you tools to keep going, no matter the terrain:

  • Initial Compass Intake: A deep dive to map your starting point—your Coordinates, habits, and dreams.

  • Weekly Check-In: A quick reflection to stay on track, tweak loops, and reconnect with your goals.

  • Mid-Journey Check-In: A bigger pause every few months to see how far you’ve come.

Your wellbeing—like energy, mood, or relationships—fuels every step. The Compass considers all of these to keep you balanced and moving.

Why Choose The Compass?

The Compass is different because it’s:

  • Personal: Your summit, your pace—no cookie-cutter plans.

  • Practical: Small steps, like changing one habit, lead to big wins.

  • Systemic: We adjust the pieces—like your energy or environment—that make change stick.

  • Supportive: A Sherpa who listens, guides, and believes in you.

This isn’t about chasing perfection—it’s about building a life you love, with more confidence, connection, and calm.
