The Plunge: Time Management
Welcome to ‘The Plunge’, your daily dive into Christian Wellness! Today’s wellness tip focuses on strategies for effective time management. Start your day by listing your tasks, then categorize them into what needs to be done immediately, what can wait, and what can be delegated or eliminated.
Research supports the importance of effective time management. A study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that individuals who practice effective time management tend to experience less stress and greater productivity (Macan, Shahani, Dipboye, & Phillips, 1990)1.
Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty."
This verse reminds us that careful planning and diligent effort lead to success. By implementing effective strategies, we can make the most of our time and resources, honoring God in all that we do.
Today, take a moment to plan your tasks. Prioritize them wisely, and see how effective strategies can lead to a more productive and fulfilling day. And until next time, engage, adapt, and overcome.
In Christ,
Remy Sharpe
